‘Amrut’ meaning elixir is a synonym of Guduchi (Tinosporia cordifolia). It lauds the superior healing capacity of the herb  Amrutharishta as a combination of Amrt with herbal drugs that help the body in fighting off infection and disease. Traditionally prescribed by Vaidyas in ‘Jwaras’ of varied origin, it has the distinct advantage of breaking down aggravated ‘Kapha’ and ‘Pitta’ elements that make the body prone to metabolic dysfunction, fever, cold, and infection.
