‘Dasamoola’ – the group of ten anti-inflammatory roots is synonymous with the Ayurvedic management of ‘Vata – kopa’ in the body. Dasamoolahareethaki Lehyam combines the anti-inflammatory action of Dasamoola with the superlative carminative effect of Hareethaki or Terminalia chebula. It effortlessly pacifies vagrant and morbid vata in the gut and the osteomuscular system.

 

‘Avaleha’ is a dosage formulation in which herbs’ therapeutic properties in an aqueous decoction are fortified with a jaggery and ghee base. These sweet herbal jams have nutritional value along with therapeutic significance.

 

  • Combination of Dasamoola (the group of ten anti-inflammatory roots), Pathya (Terminalia chebula), Chathurjatha (the group of four aromatics) and Trikatu (the group of three digestives) and Yavakshara (Hordeum vulgare) in a sweet base of jaggery and honey.
  • Dasamoolahareethaki Lehyam has excellent carminative action. Streamlines the movement of ‘vata’ through the body. Facilitates proper digestion and metabolism.

PRISHNIPARNI( Uraria picta)


is a well-known medicinal herb of Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, it is used in the treatment of asthma, dysentery, delirium, ulcers, malarial fevers, fractures of bones, inflammation of chest and diarrhea, catarrhs, bleeding piles and many other ailments. The roots of the plants mainly contain alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, proteins, steroids, tannins and phytosterols.


VILVA-Vilwa, also called as (Aegle marmelos) .The Bael tree or Bilva (in Sanskrit) is an ancient Ayurvedic tree known for its spiritual and medicinal importance. It is one of the Dashamoola (group of ten roots) herb .Belpatra is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be applied on any inflamed region for quick relief. Bael is said to have anti-fungal and anti-viral properties, due to which it is used in treating a number of infections in our body.

The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India has documented the use of the powdered herb in intermittent fevers and chronic fevers, anemia and polyuria. Also due to its cooling post-digestive effect consumption of pippali is considered as a safe and effective option to avoid all sorts of digestive disorders.


MARICHA – (Piper nigrum)


is native to Western Ghats of India. It is cultivated for its fruit, which is widely used as spice and in traditional Indian medicine preparation..Black pepper is an appetizer and carminative commonly used in the treatment of digestive system related complaints like dyspepsia, indigestion, flatulence, nausea, diarrhoea and colic pain. In respiratory system it acts like Expectorant used in Cough, cold and chest congestion. Externally used as analgesic and in Vitiligo it stimulates the production of pigments.

  • Adult: 7-10 gms in a single dose or divided doses.
  • Child: 5-7 gms in a single dose or divided doses.
