Dasamoola – the group of ten anti-inflammatory roots is synonymous with the Ayurvedic management of ‘Vata – kopa’ in the body. Dasamoolahareethaki combines the anti-inflammatory action of Dasamoola with the expectorant action of ‘Kaphahara’ drugs like Vasa (Adathoda vasica), Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica), Trikatu (Zingiber officinale, Piper longum, Piper nigrum), Rasna (Alpinia galanja) etc. Dasamoola Rasayanam effortlessly pacifies congestion, spasm and inflammation in the upper respiratory tract.
‘Avaleha’ is a dosage formulation in which herbs’ therapeutic properties in an aqueous decoction are fortified with a jaggery and ghee base. These sweet herbal jams have nutritional value along with therapeutic significance.
SITA (Saccharum officinarum)
Commonly known as the sugarcane, it’s roots are used for the therapeutic purposes. Having properties aphrodisiac, laxative, cooling, demulcent, antiseptic, and tonic. Sugarcane juice is very useful in jaundice conditions.
AGNIMANTHA(Premna integrefolia)
Agnimantha has potent anti-inflammatory action. It is used traditionally for drawing out deep tissue inflammation and pain.
SHYONAKA(Oroxylum indicum)

GAMBARI (Gmelina arborea)

SHALAPARNI (Desmodium gangeticum)

Commonly known as Indian caper. One among the Dashamoolas.its anti inflammatory and analgesic in nature. Effective in dysentry and diarrhea.

Prishniparni is a well-known medicinal herb of Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, it is used in the treatment of asthma, dysentery, delirium, ulcers, malarial fevers, fractures of bones, inflammation of chest and diarrhea, catarrhs, bleeding piles and many other ailments. The roots of the plants mainly contain alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, proteins, steroids, tannins and phytosterols

GOKSHURA(Tribulus terestris)
Land Caltrops has been used for centuries as a general tonic by the Ancient Greeks. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine to maintain efficient kidney and urinary functions and in reducing renal discomfort. It is effective in treating urinary tract disorders because it promotes the flow of urine and cools and soothes the membranes of the urinary tract. Land Caltrops has also been described as an aphrodisiac in Ayurveda.
BALA- Country mallow,also referred to by its scientific name (Sida cordifolia Linn).The Ayurvedic system of medicine considers Bala or Sida cordifolia as a tonic, astringent, emollient, and aphrodisiac. The drug also forms a chief ingredient of several important formulations and preparations in Ayurveda. Internally, bala is believed to be a very effective nervine tonic and rasayana for all kinds of vata disorders.
CHITHRAKA (Plumbago zeylanica )
Chitraka is a potent digestive medicine used for treating a host of ailments including indigestion, constipation, anorexia, abdominal distension, stomatitis, abdominal pain, etc. Imbued with digestive, caustic, stimulant and carminative properties, it eliminates harmful AMA toxins from the body which has accumulated due to malabsorption of food particles.
ERANDA (Ricinus communis)
All the parts of this herb have medicinal value.Castor seeds and seed oil is used from ancient times to cure disorders like rheumatism, worm infestation, and abdominal disorders. External application of this oil is used to relieve boils, furuncles, and various skin related disorders
VASA (Adathoda vasica.)
Vasa powder along with honey is considered to be beneficial in cases of respiratory infections such as whooping cough, bronchitis, asthma as it helps promote the secretion of sputum from the air passages due to its expectorant property. Vasa might also help manage the symptoms of arthritis due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces joint pain and swelling associated with arthritis and gout. It also reduces cramps due to its antispasmodic property.
RASNA( Alpinia Galanga)
Rasna is an Ayurvedic Medicinal plantwhich is a rhizome grown in most of Southeast Asia and is used in cooking and home made remedies. Rasna plant is used in many Ayurvedic medicines in India, Tibet, Africa to help with inflammation, bronchitis, asthma, cough, indigestion, piles, joint pains,obesity, diabetes. The paste of the leaf is also applied externally to reduce swelling .
PIPPALI-(Piper longum)

SHUNTI (Zingiber officinale)
Due to its strong flavor, Ginger is an essential ingredient in many Asian cuisines. Its therapeutic benefits have been recorded in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ginger is a potent anti-nauseatic and is beneficial in treating upset stomach.Gingerol and shogaol, active components of Ginger, suppress gastric contractions. Both the fresh and dried rhizomes of Ginger suppress gastric secretion and reduce vomiting. The compounds 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol have a number of pharmacological properties, including antipyretic, analgesic, antitussive and hypotensive properties.
JEERAKAM (Cuminum cyminum)
Jeera is an Indian spice as well as ayurvedic medicine used for several diseases of the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and reproductive system.
