SKM  Murivenna Oil is an Ayurvedic medicated oil that provides effective pain relief and faster wound healing. Set in a nourishing coconut oil base, it has the merit of herbal ingredients like moringa leaves, Indian beech, Indian shallots, and asparagus. The antibiotic and antibacterial properties of moringa quicken the process of wound healing and reduce pain and inflammation. The oil has anti-inflammatory and cooling properties that draw out heat, making it an effective remedy for minor burns. It also prevents post-burn boils and scars.

  • Instantly cools and promotes blood circulation in the traumatised area. Applied in sprains and strains, Murivenna oil relieves all the symptoms of inflammation like redness, swelling, temperature, pain and loss of function.
  • Draws out deep tissue inflammation. In soft tissue injury that refuses to heal, regular application can help in promoting drainage of deep tissue oedema. The ‘sookshma’ or penetrating swabhava of the Kerataila or coconut oil helps in delivering the healing action of Indian Asparagus, Aloe, Shallots, Moringa leaves, Betel leaves, Karanja, Caper bush etc. into deeper tissues.
  • Coconut oil base enriched with Aloe and Asparagus helps in gently healing and nourishing damaged skin, connective tissue, bones and muscles. Murivenna oil relieves painful and swollen degenerative joints.
  • The tendency to draw out and expel ‘heat’ renders it very effective in the treatment of burns. Aloe and Asparagus contribute to the cause.
  • Murivenna oil is a tried and tested remedy for relieving pain and inflammation in Haemorrhoids, Fistula and Fissure. The acute ‘Pitta’ samana brings instant relief on application.

The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India recommends using the dried juice of the leaves in dysmenorrhea, a gynaecological condition that causes painful menstruation, and also for treating liver diseases. Anthraquinone glycosides, known as aloin, act as a tonic for the digestive system. At higher doses, the compound becomes a strong purgative (Indian Medicinal Plants—An Illustrated Dictionary, C.P.Khare. 45. 2007).
